Our Party BlogHave your say about all things democraticFebruary 4, 2008HAMILTON COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY TO HOLD COUNTY CONVENTIONHCDP Press Release: Chattanooga, TN/February 4, 2008-The Hamilton County Democratic Party will hold a County Convention on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 1 p.m. EST. Doors will open at 12 noon and close at 1 p.m. sharp. The meeting will take place at Iron Workers Union Bldg, Local 704, at 2715 Belle Arbor Avenue in Chattanooga, TN. This convention is the first step in a two-step process for selecting delegates to the Democratic National Convention. At this meeting, we will elect delegates to attend the Congressional District Conventions on February 23, 2008. Delegates will be apportioned to each Democratic presidential candidate based on their performance in the February 5, 2008, Presidential Preference Primary. All Democratic residents who are eligible voters of Hamilton County are urged to attend. Please join us for an exciting and important event!
