Dear Friends,It only takes $5 to make a difference. We are a week or so away from changing our country. Across the country, millions are working to elect Barack Obama. They are also working to elect a filibuster-proof Senate majority. Here in Hamilton County, Democrats have been working just as hard to change America. And the Hamilton County Democratic Party has been supporting these efforts--from sending 60 UTC students with five vans to North Carolina to assisting north Georgia counties with Obama signs for greater visibility. All the while we have been phone calling, canvassing, and working our polls here in Hamilton County--with great results! Now is the time to turn Hamilton County BLUE! Our early vote turnout is so huge here that the Election Commission in Hamilton County extended voting hours. Now I need your help as we come to Election Day, Nov. 4. I need you to help us with money. I am asking that you help us raise $5,000 over the next eight days by giving $5, $20, $50, $100 or more. $5,000 will make sure we have all the transportation, gas, drivers, canvassers, and poll workers on Election Day.
