The Chattanooga Times Free Press reported this morning that over 361,015 new voters were registered in Tennessee during the last nine months, breaking the record previously held in 2004. Brook Thompson, state election coordinator, said that Hamilton County registered over 19,000 new voters in the same time period.I believe that most of these newly registered voters is due to our Democratic and Obama for America voterregistration efforts. If you agree with me, join me in changing Hamilton County from a purple county to a solidly blue county. Help us get these new voters out. Maybe I will receive some additional voter registrations at my house... I believe many in Tennessee are underestimating how many people are new registering and are democrats. I don't think that Tennessee will turn fully blue this year, but McCain definitely has a situation on his hands. My friend's father who has been Republican and is the steriotypical southern white man in his mid-50's, is for Obama. Change can happen and I'm shocked more and more everyday. It's about time! Hey Concerned Citizen! Don't be brainwashed! Registration Fraud (if applicable) is a far cry from Voter Fraud, itself a very rare occurrence. It's highly unlikely that the dead, Micky Mouse or any other 'fraudulent' registered voter is going to show up and be able to show valid ID in order to vote. Additionally, why would they risk the jail time just to cast a single extra vote. In the history of National Elections, actual voter fraud is unheard of. It just doesn't happen but it makes a nice boogyman.
