Fellow Tennesseans, Earlier today, Andrea and I contributed to Bob Tuke's campaign for U.S. Senate and I hope you'll join us in helping Bob right away. I have endorsed Bob's candidacy for many reasons, but chief among them is Bob's capability to address the critical problems confronting Tennesseans today: bringing down high fuel prices, creating more jobs, jump-starting our slowing economy and better managing our war against terror. He is armed with a profound knowledge of today's most important issues and a willingness to quickly and effectively achieve bipartisan solutions to help Tennesseans. I join a growing list of Bob Tuke endorsers including Former Vice President Al Gore. Bob has dedicated his life to service in many capacities, from volunteering to lead a company of Marines during the Vietnam War to practicing adoption law and helping hundreds of children find new families in loving homes. He has recently served as Chairman of the Tennessee Democratic Party and is currently the statewide Political Director for Obama for America. I know that Bob will fight for what's right in the U.S. Senate, but he needs our help to get there. I hope you will help him by contributing $25, $50, $100 or more today. (The maximum contribution allowed by law is $2,300) If elected in November, I am confident that Bob Tuke will work to make Tennessee a national leader in clean and renewable energy development to end our dependence on foreign oil, bring down high fuel prices, and generate new green collar jobs for Tennesseeagriculture and manufacturing. Bob will also demand more fiscal responsibility in our federal government to bring us back to a state of economic stability and growth, with pay-as-you-go budgeting and a business-oriented approach to stop out-of-control spending.
