Democrats are ready to lead and change the direction of our country after eight years of failed policies on the war, the economy, and national healthcare. Republicans have left Americans worse off than we were eight years ago. There is no argument more compelling than that. So it comes down to this: Now is the time for changing the status quo of huge deficit spending, national debt, almost 60 million uninsured, and the quagmire in Iraq. Now is the time for Barack Obama and Joe Biden to lead our nation. It is also time for Bob Tuke to be sent to the U.S. Senate. To effectively bring about total change, we will need a filibuster-proof senate in Washington, D.C. And it is also time to re-elect our three Democratic state legislators-Senator Andy Berke, Representative JoAnne Favors, and Representative Tommie Brown. They will continue to work with our Democratic Governor Phil Bredesen in helping our state through the tough times ahead. The tough times ahead require a change in leadership because for the last eight years Republicans ran us into these tough times. This year, I urge you to vote straight down the ticket. Vote straight Democratic and change our country for the better. Post a Reply...
